The Barberá de la Conca winery is adjacent to two symbolic locations in the history of Catalunya: the town of Montblanc and the Monastery of Poblet. Cistercian monks settled here nearly a thousand years ago, in their search for worldly perfection.
It is an area remarkable for its rich, well-balanced, rocky soil andabundant sand. The dry, limey landscape strains the vines, concentrating vigor in the fruit for deeply concentrated, flavorful grapes.
